Metal Marketplace International® (MMI®) looks forward to serving you. MMI® invites you to call our friendly staff to explain our Terms and Conditions. Our showroom is open Monday through Thursday from 9am-4:30pm ET and Friday 9am-4pm ET.

ACCOUNT TERMS:

  • Metal Marketplace is a B2B contractor manufacturer.
  • All new accounts must complete a credit application with your re-sale number. This process is compliant with the American Money Laundering Act (AML). To apply for a new account, complete the paper application found in this catalog then return to MMI®, apply online at https://metalmarketplace.com/credit-application/ or call our Team directly.
  • Payment terms are available to accounts that are rated 1 or 2 by The Jewelers Board of Trade.
  • Non-rated accounts that complete a credit application, please allow 3 days from time submitted for processing.
  • Accounts with an open balance are sent a month-end statement via email, unless the company opts out of paperless billing.
  • 3% per month will be added to accounts that are past due. We will not send merchandise to past due accounts.
  • We accept company checks, bank wires, certified checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Returned checks will be assessed a bank charge.

PRICING:

  • All gold, silver, and platinum merchandise is sold by gram weight unless otherwise specified with a per piece price (i.e. promotional carded chains, polished ball studs, CZ studs, promotional necklaces and genuine stone styles).
  • For price quotes, call our Sales Team or view approximate cost by logging into your online account.
  • Gold is billed based on the current gold market, which is generally the 2nd London fix plus $10 on the date of shipment. (i.e. 2nd London fix is $5000, we will bill at $5010).
  • Major gold fluctuations cause MMI® to change our gold selling price during the day.
  • We reserve the right to make any corrections, if a billing error occurs
  • Volume pricing discounts are available. Please call. MMI® WILL NOT BE UNDERSOLD.

PLACING AN ORDER:

  • There is no minimum order required. Orders can be placed by phone (800-523-9191), fax (215-592-8195), e-mail (mmisales@metalmarkeplace.com) or online (www.metalmarketplace.com).
  • Orders placed at different times throughout the day are treated as separate orders and shipped individually. We will make every attempt to accommodate customers by combining daily shipments.

WEBSITE:

  • Customers with an active MMI® account may have online access to our website (www.metalmarketplace.com) to place orders and view their wholesale pricing. Contact our Sales Team (800-523-9191) or email gina@metalmarketplace.com on how to get started.
  • Pricing on our website is an approximate cost. Final cost is determined at time of invoicing, when exact gram weights are confirmed.

DELIVERY: SHIPPING & PICK UP ORDERS

  • Upon placing an order, our team will prepare and invoice the order. Most orders are ready for shipment/pick-up within 24 hours of receipt during the business week. Orders ships via UPS. Upon request, FedEx may be used.
  • The customer pays all shipping charges, including backorders and warranty items.
  • For security purposes, we only bill and ship to the company on file. We do not drop-ship packages to different locations not on file.
  • To update your company’s account details, call our Sales Team at 800-523-9191. Any account changes must be verified by email and telephone.
  • Backorders are held upon request, and shipped once available at the current pricing on the day of shipment.
  • Report any discrepancy within 24 hours of receipt of goods. Every invoice is tripled-checked for accuracy.
  • By accepting merchandise from MMI®, the customer agrees to be responsible for all collections and attorney fees.
  • Shipping charges are not fixed and are subject to change without prior notice. Fluctuations in fuel costs and other factors beyond our control may require price adjustments.
  • Orders are only available for pick-up during our Showroom hours. (Mon-Thurs 9am-4:30pm ET and Fri 9am-4pm ET)

CATALOGS:

  • Call for a free set of our catalogs.
  • We have included triple keystone pricing in this catalog at the following markets: $5000 gold, $80 Silver and $1,900 Platinum.
  • Triple Keystone pricing is the approximate wholesale price marked up three times. This pricing is not your actual cost, but a guideline for developing your own retail selling prices. Divide this price by 3 to get your approximate cost at $5000 gold.

WEIGHTS & LENGTHS:

  • MMI® can cut or piece size most chains to your specification, at no additional cost.
  • All gram weights are approximate and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Stock items, lengths, and weights may vary slightly. MMI® cannot be held responsible for such variances.
  • Items without weights listed in this catalog/online are sold via per piece pricing.
  • Jewelry shown at the catalog is actual size. Color variations may occur due to the printing process.

MMI SELLS PLUMB GOLD - ASSAY AND REFINERY SERVICES AVAILABLE:

  • MMI® sells Plum Gold (10K, 14K, 18K). The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that karat gold is exactly calibrated. MMI® uses local business, Melting Bar, LLC, to confirm the metal purity of our products via their X-ray gold assay machine. Melting Bar, LLC offers services to assay and refine your products.   • All merchandise is trademarked 10K gold, 14K gold, 18K gold, Sterling Silver, or Platinum.

LIFETIME WARRANTY:

  • We operate as a B2B entity and any lifetime warranty extended on our products is between us and the retail businesses we service.
  • According to the terms and conditions contained herein, MMI will replace any “all-gold” merchandise 10K, 14K, 18K that is either broken, kinked, or otherwise damaged.
  • Our Lifetime Warranty excludes gold jewelry sold via per-piece pricing, any jewelry sold from our Custom Handmade Links catalog, silver jewelry and mixed precious metal styles.
  • This Warranty is not applicable for Wholesalers or special pricing given for certain circumstances, such as payment in advance, immediate pay, close-out, or other special considerations. Acts of war, fire, theft, and flood damage are excluded.
  • For customers to have access to Lifetime Warranty, they must be active and in good standing for the previous 12 months.
  • MMI® will try to substitute a similar item for discontinued items to satisfy the customer.

STOCK BALANCING and RETURNS:

  • Full Return Policy is online at https://metalmarketplace.com/terms-conditions or may be emailed upon request.
    1. Returns within 30 days of purchase- MMI will give a full credit for returned items at the same gold market when it was purchased. Exceptions to this rule in a changing world: If gold were to move up or down more than 10%, even if the purchase was within 30 days, it is up to the discretion of MMI how we will handle that situation.
    2. Returns after 30 days- We will give credit for returned items at whichever gold market is lower: the day of purchase or the day of return.
    3. MMI will attempt to repair the damaged/broken gold jewelry, at no cost to the customer. If a repair is not possible, MMI will replace damaged item at no charge as long as the replacement item is within a 10th of a gram in weight. If replacement item weighs more, we will charge for the difference in gold and labor. If replacement item weighs less, we will issue a credit for the difference in weight.
    4. Silver that is returned; a stock item, a discontinued or non-catalog item will be credited for scrap
  • Stock Balance returns- Customer must send a new stock order with this return. MMI will issue a credit on returned items following the above rules. MMI will process the new order and apply the issued stock balance credit to that order.
  • In any event, the total combined use of lifetime warranty and stock balancing shall not exceed 10% of total sales of the previous 12 months. Because of the unusual increased gold market, exchanging heavier SKUs for credit, stock balancing or refund is not permitted. This policy pertains to active catalog items only and is only permitted for active accounts in good standing.
  • Special orders, custom cut sizes, and engraved pieces are not returnable.
  • All returns must adhere to the following to be processed:
    1. Contact our Sales Team or email mmisales@metalmarketplace.com to receive a Return Authorization Form.
    2. Account # and account name included.
    3. Each style is bagged individually with MMI®’s style number and be in original condition. Product must be still in MMI®’s current catalog at the time of exchange.
    4. A copy of the original invoice or the invoice number.
    5. An order of equal or greater value.  If you do not have an order with the stock balance or return, we will hold the credit on your account and apply it on your next order.  If the credit exceeds the replacement order, the credit can be used toward a future order.
  • Exchanges are rebilled for the difference of the current gold market. Customers are also rebilled or credited for any weight variance.
  • Under no circumstances will MMI® issue a refund. Non-catalog items are credited for scrap.
  • MMI® has the right to refuse any return not under warranty and to deny excessive returns, including excessive stock balancing requests.
  • Failure to comply with the above may result in a delay of the replacement order and/or a 10% restocking fee.
  • All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
